Natalie Woolf é uma artista que se dedica ao desenho expandido e experimental e à imagem em movimento, desenvolvendo a sua prática criativa no Atelier Concorde, em Lisboa. Os seus principais interesses artísticos e de investigação incluem as materialidades da presença humana e o desenho espacialmente distribuído. Interessa-se particularmente pela combinação de imagens fixas e em movimento, e pela forma como estas são mediadas por e/ou produzidas através de tecnologias. Trabalhou de forma independente em práticas artísticas aplicadas e em arte pública, fazendo consultoria em desenvolvimento urbano e rural. Tem um doutoramento em Design Products, pelo Royal College of Art e uma licenciatura em Belas Artes/Pintura pela Leeds Beckett University. Desde 2015, Natalie lecciona desenho e instalação de Espaços Híbridos para cursos de Design e Animação, tanto a nível de licenciatura como de mestrado, e é investigadora integrada no CICANT, Universidade Lusófona. Como artista e investigadora Woolf expõe e publica em contextos de belas artes e academia.

Natalie Woolf is a practicing artist focused on expanded and experiential drawing and moving image, developing her creative practice at Atelier Concorde, Lisbon. Her main topics of art practice and research include materialities of human presence and spatially distributed drawing. She is particularly interested in combining still and moving image, and how that is mediated by and/or delivered through technologies. Previously she has worked independently in applied arts practices, and in public arts practice and consultancy, in urban and rural development. She holds a PhD in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, and a BA in Fine Arts/Painting from Leeds Beckett University. Since 2015, Natalie has taught Drawing and Hybrid Spaces installation for the Design and Animation courses at both BA and MA level, and is an integrated researcher at CICANT. As an active artist/researcher, Woolf exhibits and publishes in fine art and academic contexts.
